(Okay I thought I replied to an older thread but now it is it's own thread? Maybe a mod created a new one IDK)

How often does the bug occur?: This far it's only happened once

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed?: Holiday Celebration
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves?: Get into the freelancer career, choose the job that's something about creating a character design. Research designs first. Then make the design.
What happens when the bug occurs?: The design doesn't show up in the inventory. And I couldn't choose "scrap the design", that option was greyed out (I thought I would scrap it and make a new one if the old one was glitchy). I had to purchase a new tablet.
What do you expect to see?: For this not to happen. The design to be in the inventory or at least be recognized by the tablet.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods?: No.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system?: I don't know it's because of it but I have the latest update?

This happened to me today! I have the basegame and the holiday kit, on PC. And I have previously done several jobs successfully, but that was before the latest updates. So now, my sim was supposed to make some character concept. She made one, and it was nowhere to be seen! And when I clicked the tablet, it did have the option to scrap the design, but it was greyed out.
Eventually I sold the tablet and bought a new one, but it sold for $0 and a new one costs $750 so I hope it doesn't happen a lot. Also after the glitch happened I had my sim upgrade the tablet. It still didn't work and now I had to get rid of an upgraded tablet so that was a waste of time and money. Also the options on the tablet where only four. I don't know if I remember them correctly. I guess one was put it in inventory, and then the scrap design option that didn't work, and then something else that was greyed out ... and what was the forth? I noticed this because when I bought a new one it had MANY options in comparison.
My sim had level 9 painting skill, I don't remember what the job required. She had one painting since before in her inventory (just a regular painting) and it didn't seem to stack. She didn't have much in her inventory, like two crystals, maybe three kinds of upgrade parts (but stacks with many of the same kind) and 60+ bluebells, and the one painting. Oh and four photos. And I went through all these items because I saw some posts on this forum saying it could stack (with other paintings I presume but just to be sure I scrolled through all the flowers and such).
