Footsteps still silent

Summarize your bug Footsteps are inconsistent or non existent. Yet when I’m laying down dead they are clear as day. Does not matter game mode, except squad conquest is more consistent.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the game
What happens when the bug occurs? I die
What should be happening instead? I hear enemy running up on me

Frustrating to rarely hear footsteps.  Hear my team all the time and constantly looking, but when enemy’s are around I don’t hear the steps until I’m waiting for revive and then it’s beyond clear.

I am sorry to hear you are having an problem with hearing footsteps. This is what I found about your issue.

Battlefield V - Update 6.2

Implemented a new audio prioritization system in order to reduce occurrences of important sounds being culled due to performance limitations. This results in more controlled and stable behavior for sounds such as vehicles, footsteps and weapons.
