I'm having these same issues as well, and it's genuinely frustrating when there was already a tight timeframe to complete the Harvestfest event. I hope that an extension is granted as these have been known issues for days.

The dance career only has a quick shift available, which started yesterday. The medical career just started tonight only having a quick or a long shift.

After the introduction of Llama Zoom trucks, which made The Sims Mobile more irritating, more stressful, less fun, and less rewarding all at the same time, I figured randomly erasing job choices without warning was another intentional way to cause grief for us Simmers. I ended up wasting a bunch of cupcakes and Simbucks because I couldn’t get my Sims to do the jobs I needed them to, and now I find it’s a bug.

There are no options at ALL for long shifts and very limited options on standard and quick shifts. I thought it was just a bug but it has been happening for the past couple of days and this morning it's worse. Only the science profession has an option for a standard shift and no others.

There is no work around same issues still very present after waking up and powering phone back on. Restarted EVERYTHING and I completely turn off my entire phone before bed.

For everyone affected by this bug, the advice is to contact EA.
Seeing the Harvest event is ending soon, I hope this bug will resolve itself. Please let us know if it does not.

So I tried contacting EA support through your steps @Phantomlover1717, but it bounced back saying that they weren't able to connect me with EA technical support.

Could you try one of the other options @ewey7p? Maybe Facebook or Twitter. It could be that they're really busy, I'm not sure...

Same problem here with the writing hobby. I’m level 10 and maxed out, but the option for the special event is grayed out and won’t let me finish my hobby story.
