Fix for "Placeholder" Cantina Battles [ Edited ]

This had been reported before but making thread for easy visibility for new users.

Sometimes Cantina battles go crazy (see screenshot).
This occured when I got a friend request (or possibly arena match against me?).

Edit: @Slushie83 figured out this way:

Access the cantina battles via the "find shards" function.

1) Open character list.

2) Select Dathcha

3) Press "Find" at bottom right.

4) Press the challenge button on "Battle G - Holotable"

2nd way:
Fix is to clear app data and cache.
Android:
1) Enter settings -> Applications manager.
2) Find the game in the list (Heroes)
3) Press Fore stop
4) Press Clear Cache
5) Press Clear Data.
6) Start game.
Note that it will download additional data so wifi connection is recommended.

Edit 2:

If neither of these ways work for you, there is a 3rd way (discovered by @NafeKafafe), re-installing the game should solve it.

This is what I used to do as well, but I found out that when I access the cantina battles via the "find shards" function it would fix the issue and revert back to normal.

I've only been able to try this method once since it hasn't happened again yet so if anyone else could test this method and confirm that would be appreciated.

List of characters that drop shards in Cantina Battles:

• Talia
• Chewbacca
• Genosian Soldier
• Dathcha
• Jawa
• Nightsister Acolyte
• Biggs Darklighter
• IG-100 MagnaGuard
• Jedi Consular

It's only worked for me the one time I've been able to try it so far, so I just hope it's a fix that works for others too and not just a one off thing for me.

The find data shard trick worked for me also. It doesn't fix the problem for me though unfortunately. More annoying is that the game crashes if I leave the cantina battle with this bug active.

I did reinstall originally which fixed it as well obviously, however clearing the cache did not fix the bug for me.

4th reinstall now 

While I can still access the battles via the "find shards" trick, the shipments menu is always bugged and not visible (has the normal/hard buttons) unless I reinstall.

Unfortunately it seems my original method was a once off success. I tried it again and it didn't work the second time so it looks like I just got lucky some how with the first attempt.

May as well remove it from the main post @Sc1-T3k.

Clearing app cache and data method worked for me this time though.
