@mrplug99 it's crazy I know, but what i do is that i retire my carrer and start it again but I'm complaining about this because the only reason I play face of the franchise is to play my entire career

Same thing here. Waited to buy the game because of all the bugs. Thought for sure they would be fixed. It’s February. I play for the grind. Level 7 LB, game freezes and all my stats are reset and I am a QB that plays as a LB. I don’t want to play again and have the effort wasted.

Summarize your bug For about the fifth time, no matter what I do, just after preseason, the game freezes and makes me restart, or just changes my position in skill upgrade. I have started as a WR every time, but it still changes to a QB. I have seen this reported for MONTHS. Why has it not even been mentioned in updates????
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play FOTF until after preseason and it'll happen.
What happens when the bug occurs? It changes my position and I lose my progress.
What do you expect to see? I was hopeful that if I didn't exit the game, it might not screw up, but seems Madden is more.

Summarize your bug position change after Week 10 go from 83 overall WR to a 73 overall QB but oddly i still play as a WR after the position change
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? play ten face of franchise games as WR u should see it
What happens when the bug occurs? week, 10
What do you expect to see? return my player WR to his stats an average where i left him at 83 overall an get rid of this bug

After this mornings update my 73 overall cb on the giants turned into my 99 overall qb on the lions then switched him to the giants, plays cb but with qb attributes and x factor.. whats that about and will i have to start over again.. help ea

So after 6 months it looks like they finally fixed it!!!!

Summarize your bug My character keeps having the position changed to QB and all of my rating drop back down to 70 after making progress to 90+. This has happened at least 3 times when creating a LB and once creating a HB.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Create a face of the franchise character, save it, come back 24 hours later and the character position and story line progress will be gone.
What happens when the bug occurs? My character has the position changes and the progress is dropped.
What do you expect to see? My character to be in the same position with the same progress that was there when I saved it.
