Hi, until today I've had no issues with the EA app. However, today when trying to open the App I get the error message "EA App Crashed Unexpectedly" as per the attached screenshot.
I've looked online at various solutions but nothing has worked - eg I've tried various options such as clearing the cache, deleting the Electronic Arts folder, changing compatability and running as administrator. I managed to get to the log in screen but then it crashed once I'd entered my credentials.
Please advise if there is a general issue with EA and, if not, what I can do to open EA
CM edit: edited title for clarity.

The EA app was working just fine an hour ago and now it keeps crashing, I just want to play my game

I am also having this issue! Spent the last 30 minutes restarting my computer, going through task manager and closing every ea tab I see, running as administrator, etc. Crash report just keeps popping up, and I just want to play my game ![]()

Same thing. I've spent 15 minutes troubleshooting this to no avail. Making me think EA servers are down.

Just trying to play the sims 4 and now the EA app keeps saying it’s crashing. I have tried everything and even went to Twitter and I’m not the only one experiencing this so it must be on EA’s end! It was working fine earlier when it was offline but now all of a sudden after the ‘maintenance’ fix it’s not working for a multitude of people!

@TeypettsYeah, having this exact issue. Started happening an hour ago and EA support couldn’t provide any help.

I am also facing this same issue. It keeps crashing & I keep getting this same error. I am using the app on Windows.
New name, new look, same great benefits: EA Access and Origin Access are now EA Play.
