Platform: PS4
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.87
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except 2 kits 
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to build mode, top right corner there is a red bar
What happens when the bug occurs? Just distracting when building
What do you expect to see? Red bar gone
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

1. There is a long red bar in top right corner of screen 

Only way I got rid of it was delete and reinstall. I am getting annoyed with the glitches and bugs

It started showing up again and it came back after  a month without it..

If you're experiencing this issue on PlayStation we would love it if you could share your save file with us by following the steps here. 

Fear not Xbox players, while we sadly can't gather save files from you as easily, PlayStation saves should provide what we need to resolve the issue on both platforms.

I have the issue on Playstation 4 now after installing Dine Out, Island Living, and Eco just last night. I left the build mode on while making a restaurant and woke up to the red bar. Haven't tried any previous saves yet but I'm worried bcus restarting didn't fix it.

I will try to finish/save my restaurant and try a different save. This was also the first build ever that I used bb.moveobjects but used the console command without turning cheats on in general.

I really don't think save files have anything to do with this, nor can they show anything related to this. That red bar appears even if I start a brand new game. I've also deleted and re-installed the whole game, no effect. This started happening when Crystal Creations came out and the game was patched to accommodate it, so it SHOULD be related to it.

It appears if I go to Build Mode from Manage Worlds. If I'm playing a household and switch to Build Mode from Live Mode, then it USUALLY doesn't appear. I've noticed it appear once this way, but it was there only a couple of seconds and it went away. This also confirmed that it is an actual element in the UI, because when it went away, button legend below it moved that much up.

I'm playing PS4 version on PS5.

EDIT: I have not purchased Crystal Creations, so it's not the pack itself per se, but the patch it came with.

I was wondering what that is. I kept thinking it was some error but it's there even on a new save, new blank lot with nothing built yet.

Same problem here on the PS5. Also seeing the red bar in the right corner of the screen in build mode.

I have the same issue on PS4, it’s since the last update on the 6th March. I really hope it’s not a fire risk level as it ruins gameplay for me personally as I love to build homes and communal lots.
