[FIXED] Wrong Relationship Status when asked [ Edited ]

I have noticed when playing the game, if you have two Sims that are dating (boyfriend/girlfriend) when you ask if they are single, you get an aswer of yes they are.. This happens when they are promised to each other too.. It's like the Sim is not recognising they are in a relationship already.

Also relationship bars decrease way too fast.... One minute they are lovers next they are boyfriend/girlfriend but hate each other..

Married Sims can also ask another Sim to be their boyfriend/girlfriend.

I have the same issue - my sims ignore the question "ask if single". In fact, it doesn't even say they are single. When I hover over the sims icon, my active sim can only see their own relationship, traits and career. How can I fix this?

Are you using mods in your game ?

I fixed it!  

As I had another issue, my game download being stuck at 98%, I followed the instructions from here:

and it helped solve both issues  

P.S. I am not using any mods
