Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? make Vampire back float in the swimming pool
What happens when the bug occurs? Vampire will cancel back float
What do you expect to see? Vampire can back float. It is very sad because "Island Living" is coming
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try 'floating on water' in the pool with a vampire sim. Vampires can't float on the water. But humans can float on water. I think only vampires are having problems.
What happens when the bug occurs? Pressing the vampire's 'Floating on the Water' repeatedly cancels it.
What do you expect to see? I wish vampires were floating on the water.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes

@EA_LannaSimsCDR i have this happen too, non vampire sim can perfectly backfloat and would continue to do so even after using cheats to turn then into vampire instantly but as soon as the animation finishes they can no longer backfloat, it will just cancel the interaction. Saw someone posted that they can backfloat with vampire-mermaid hybrid.

Vampires can not back float on PS4 either. They immediately cancel the action.

simvasion's Vampire Interactions Fixes contains a fix for this, too. The cause is an inappropriate Energy check (vampires don't have that motive...at least not the normal version  ):

"The action tests to see if the sim has enough energy, and if not, it ends the back float. Vampires don’t have the normal energy motive regular sims do – they have vampiric energy instead, so the game thinks that the vampire has no energy and cancels the action."

I have the exact same problem. EA needs to fix this ASAP. Occult sims are all I play with and it's frustrating how buggy they are.
