Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.54.120.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? EP: all except GF, IL GP: all except SV SP: Cool Kitchen, Spooky Stuff, Romantic Garden, Kids Stuff, Backyard, Vintage Glamour, plus all free items
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Create a teenage vampire, have them go on a date.
What happens when the bug occurs? The date ends early and unsucessfully without player intervention, after 30 seconds real time. Any social interactions that complete do not count towards main goal. If teen is on 1st level of serial romantic or soulmate, the date does not count towards the 'go on 2 dates' requirement.
What do you expect to see? Date continues until it runs out of time or player ends it. All social interactions counting towards main goal. Date counting towards Serial Romantic/Soulmate aspiration, even if unsucessful (as it does for adults).
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I tried this with a normal teen starting the date with the vamp, and the date completes properly, registers for the normal sim's aspiration but doesn't register for vamp. Not managed to test a date between an alien and a vamp.
Discovered in a modded game but tested in a brand new, unmodded game (mods folder removed, caches cleared).

- Teen Vampires now can complete a regular Date. They deserve a chance to find love, too!
Fixed in Patch 1.108.349/1.97

Hi Crin, adult vamps are fine, can complete a date at any time of day. I've not specifically tested time of day for the teens but it seems to happen at any time of day or night. I wil double check though.
ETA: A teen date done at night worked, started after 9pm game time. Does this make it part of a different problem? At least I now know how to make it work in my challenge file. Thanks.

What is your current game version number? 1.70.84.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get to work, get together, city living, vampires, parenthood, seasons, get famous, strangerville, island living, realm of magic, discover university
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go on a date and try to do the objectives.
What happens when the bug occurs? I go on a date (with objectives) but the objectives won't fill. (For example, I'm speaking to my partner but the "talk to your date 10 times" won't fill) The event also finished on it's own in about a minute of IRL time.
What do you expect to see? Normal objective filling and a date that ends when I want it to or when the time runs out.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199
You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.
Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.
The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
