Electronics are broken since newest update

I did try to sell and buy new, but they still crash and break

you dont need to sell at all, you click on item and replace it if its broken..has to be placed in the house though..not in your inventory

oh yeah! True, unfortunally it did not work it does repair and then instantly break again :'(

if you can upgrade things, see if that helps...once my stuff is upgraded it rarely breaks..but again..I do not have Season's

I will try that, hopefully it helps, but i am pretty sure it is a bug with seasons :P

This is happening again.  The Sims can upgrade, but they cannot complete any repairs..they just keep working on it.  This is true for the hot tub, neon wall lights, stereo's and the roomba vacuums

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? A sim of mine brought a portable piano keyboard into the common area of the spice market neighborhood. She was playing it when it began to rain, and the piano broke. The piano then became completely unable to be returned to her inventory.
What happens when the bug occurs? The electronic portable keyboard is now stuck and unable to be returned to any sim's inventory, even after resetting object. It had the option to be repaired, so I waited for a non-rainy day to fix it but my sim became stuck repairing. She just stood there, infinitely repairing it without ever finishing and it remains broke.
What do you expect to see? I would expect to be able to select the keyboard to be returned to my sim's inventory, like I normally do. Or, I would also expect to be able to repair it, however the inventory option is missing entirely and the repair function is not working.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

The item has been there for quite some time, through multiple loads of the game + switching to multiple families. It's ultra annoying so any help would be great!

Guess the main issue here is that it can't be repaired so I merged with existing thread on the issue.

I'm unsure if you can upgrade the piano but if so, was it upgraded ?

It is unupgraded - it was brand new pretty much! I am unsure if once repaired it can be moved to inventory, but since I cannot get it to the point of being fixed I have no way of checking

Hard to tell what the issue is. Thought only upgraded objects were affected so it might be different.
There's also an issue with unbreakable objects but I'm not even sure if the piano usually breaks or not (not in the rain) ?

For now, it's probably just leave it there or use mods to delete (or maybe set as head)
