Cannot Adopt Sim After Recent Patch

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Seasons, Growing Together, Discover University, City Living, Werewolves, Realm of Magic, My First Pet Stuff, Backyard Stuff, Blooming Rooms Kit
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open the phone and try to adopt a child.
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim walks to the end of the lot and resets. No household funds are lost. The adopted sim does not join my household.
What do you expect to see? The sim walks to the end of the lot, fades out, and returns with the adopted sim after decreasing the household funds.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The issue occurred after the latest game patch. My game is fully updated.

When I spawn in, I am getting a pop-up about bills. The amount of money is off and the game date is on Friday.

Hi team!
I've encountered a problem, and I'm not sure if it's related to the latest updates.

After clicking on the child adoption option, my Sim goes to the edge of the lot, and then the action gets canceled. Child does not appear.

World: Henford-on-Bagley

I've updated the game with the most recent patch, but the problem still exists.

I don't have the Lovestruck pack.

I have one mod in the game - Shorter University. The issue occurs even with this mod disabled.

When my sim tries to adopt a kid it gets the task to do it but when it exits the house and goes to adopt the kid the game glitches out and puts my sim in front of the house/resets my sim with the 1000 simoleons but no kid, could someone please help, I tried to reset the game but it still wont work?

This is happening in my game as well. New save, no mods.

When adopting a child, the sim walks to the edge of the lot, the action completes but no adoption takes place. 

There is no lastException.txt file generated by this. 

Happens for phone adoption interaction (regular and the free-for-celebrities variants) and computer adoption interaction.

Adopting cats and dogs works fine. 

Tested with Lovestruck and before getting Lovestruck (but after patches) and it happened in both instances.

same thing for me too. took all of my mods out of the game, tried deleting and reinstalling the game, tried reinstalling EA, took my saves out and started a new one and it still happens everytime.

Same problem for me... new update broke the game alot and can't adopt anymore come one EA...
