[FIXED] Toddler can’t get leftovers [ Edited ]

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.47.49.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Clicking on the fridge as a toddler
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing
What do you expect to see? The toddler get food for themselves
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

• Whenever I play as a toddler, if you click on the fridge, it has the option to ‘get leftovers’ it doesn’t work now. It use to, but after the august patch, it stopped working. So if it doesn’t work, why is the option still there??

I had to click several times to get my sim to feed my toddler.  Not sure if its related to this.

Me too!! Maybe I’m just lazy and don’t want my sim to feed my toddler >.< but why have the option in game for them to get the food theirselves and it doesn’t even work!!!

Me too.  I didn't even stop to think it might be a bug. I just tried it once, saw it didn't work, and dragged a plate out for my toddler to get a serving that way.   Been doing that ever since.

1. 100% of the time my toddlers across several sim families (saved games) cannot get leftovers from the fridge on their own. I have to drag the food out of the fridge for them to get it. 

1. Also, in sims 3 if there was fruit or veggies in the sims inventory the toddler would eat it. In sims 4 I have to tell the toddler to eat the fruit or veggie and 50% of the time the toddler doesn't eat the fruit/veggie and it is on the floor and the toddler is starving and sad or angry.

this needs to be fixed. Sims should be able to eat the fruit/veggies/honey in their inventory without being told to do so.

1. Same goes for food in paper bags. why bag the food if the sim isn't intelligent enough to unbag it and eat it?

yeah for sure don't feel that option is supposed to be available for them.
