[TO ADD] Time Control doesn't work properly in Cinematic Camera Mode (TAB) [ Edited ]

I am not that "technical" but I feel like I am having the same problem.

I use TAB camera mode a lot. I can move the camera around with WASD just the same, but I am unable to use any of the hotkeys that Pause or Play the game.

It makes it hard to take screen shots.

I removed everything from my Mods folder and it still happened.

So, I'm having this problem as well but wanted to do some troubleshooting first. I turned off my mods, but when I went to start the game again, it said there was an update. A version 1.48.94.1020. I thought it was strange that there would be another patch so close without notice, so I figured it was an emergency and installed it. I started the game without mods in this new version and I could control time again. I turned the mods back on and still could control time, so I guess whatever this patch is fixed it? Still strange though.

Oh! I spoke too soon. I saw a Tweet from Kate from about 30 minutes ago saying this patch fixes this issue and that speaker issue. Cool!

Nice job patching this quickly.  It would have been really annoying dealing with this long term.  Someone at Maxis is working hard this week by the looks of it.

Fixed in Patch 1.48.94

Bit mean ... didn't even have time to add this to my compiled list.

Edit: Spoke too soon - it didn't fix after downloading the patch, but it did once I tried 'repair game'

UI Cheats Extension fixed their original issue, but right now it reverts the official patch, breaking cinematic mode keybinds again. As far as I can tell, it's in their hands now.

yes, remove the UI extension mod if you still have issues.
