Surviving the Holidays didn't work. It ended when I traveled to another lot.

Now the carnival one doesn't work. All I did was put on the radio station and it ended in less than an hour. After I took time to make the new family. Are these all broken?

I am still having this issue as of Feb 2022. I just want to be able to be an interior designer and not fail the scenario.
