I wonder if there is an official bug report thread on this in addition to this thread in the Tech issues section? (I couldn't find one) I was just thinking that we'd get more Me too clicks on it if people were able to find it. Maybe it would have an effect on how soon we can expect this to be patched. Also I appreciate the highly informative title of this thread but I imagine most simmers having the same issue don't have the technical savvy to use such key words in the search field of the forums and find this exact thread. :D

@siirysiir When you see someone from the Sims team post saying the issue is being investigated and that it has been reproduced, that's as much visibility as the issue needs from EA's side.
As for whether a pile of Me Toos would help prioritize this particular error, it's possible, but I haven't seen a large number of posts on the same subject recently, so it might not be particularly widespread. Still, when someone does report a sound issue that seems similar, we do ask them whether it might be this, so hopefully they and anyone reading their other threads will be wind up here too.

Hello @mayorbrenton,
Could you please confirm if you tested after removing mods/cc? If not would you mind testing it without mods/cc? also, make sure you delete the localthumbcache file after removing mods.
Thanks!

@mayorbrentonThis has ALWAYS been the case for me whether I had mods in or not - I've played for 2 years now and this has been the norm. Is it NOT supposed to do this? ps. I was playing on a high end computer, too.....
