@crinrict I’m also experiencing the issue with one young adult sim. I’ve tried repairing the game twice and moving around to different households to play for a bit but when I return to the broken sim, she is still broken. She is able to click on objects and interact but I noticed a second issue along with hers/others social menus not appearing.
She won’t complete a task when I tell her to do something (baking a blueberry pie/matcha tea cake specifically) OR if she does do the task I assign (even cleaning tasks), she will only do it for 2 seconds so I have to repetitively click the action I want her to do until she finishes it.
Also, I first noticed the issue because knitting was glitching out. I tried to have her complete a knit object at home (object was originally started while she was on her retail lot) and once she sits to begin knitting, she resets to the location she was when I assigned her the task. So, my sim hasn’t been able to knit unless it’s new items to completion. I was able to frog the original knit projects but I have to check if the knitting bug persists on a residential rental lot still.
At the time I discovered the bug she owned a residential rental and a retail store. I noticed that she wasn’t getting the ‘do inspection and maintenance’ option on objects in one of the rentals just before the bugs started.
She doesn’t have fame, I believe she has a pristine reputation and she is a charity organizer in the political career.
I recently merged her into a new household and she remains bugged while the other ones are not (one of which actually has fame).
I’ve tested other households in this save file and haven’t discovered another sim with this issue.
