Social Menu not appearing for certain Sims/Saves

in my game, it only applies to one sim in one save file. all of my other sims are fine, including a new save file i made. the sim in question is a vampire.

Is anyone else having this issue? 

I loaded my game and can NOT interact with certain objects and the NPCs. 

I  try to click and no interactions pops up. I can debug and do certain things but its limited.

In my case it affects a single sim in a single save, all other sims are fine. The sim is not special in any way besides being a lvl 3 celebrity.

Hi, 

For me...

It is only my adults in the family that the pie menu doesn't appear. The kids pie menu shows when I click to interact with each other and with the adults. 

The pie menu shows when interacting with objects.

They are not occult.

All have fame (2 adults, one is Thorne Bailey, and 2 children), except the toddler.

I don't have any other saves (had a sort out last week and effectively started again) or active households.

Any help would be appreciated.

I’m also having this issue after updating today. I’m on PS4 with no mods (never had any) and only have base game and expansion packs. Someone on Reddit mentioned it could be get famous with the glitch.

Are your affected Sims global Superstars ?

I tried cleansing but it still doesn't work but maybe it has something to do with that. Need more data though.

I can't play with any existing saves. Sims are unselectable - no pie menu at all whether trying to select self or other sims no matter which sim is active.

I removed all mods. I created a new save and have pie menus in that one. But I'm really upset about this because I don't want a new save, I've been really digging playing my Super Sim and I'm 75% of the way through that.

I am having the same issue since this update.. with and without mods. I play with 4 sims in a household and only 1 of them has this issue...
