Mexssim thank you, this worked for me too.

Both of my broken sims were level 5 singing. I adjusted to level 3 and the pie menu is back.

If only it were that simple! My sims randomly start singing all the time, especially on holidays! I'll have to watch them like a hawk, lol

I can also confirm that this workaround does work for me as well.  I dropped my sims singing skill back to level 1 and I can get all the social options available again.

@carlosmertinat I had trouble opening my game as well. Restarted the computer and it finally loaded...not that the game is playable. My Sim can't use her instruments (guitar and keyboard); can't use the mailbox (and as a writer she needs the mailbox!); can't interact with other Sims. And I JUST bought Seasons and one of the kitchen kits. I already had City Living, the laundry pack, and a couple of the garden packs. Also have the restaurant kit/pack whatever it is.

Everything was working fine for me when I signed off at about 3am this morning (Pacific Time US) (This game is great when my back is hurting so badly I can't sleep. I can sit with my heating pad and play.) Anyway...I'm shutting the game down. There's no sense in trying to play it if it's not going to work properly.

Wonder how long it will take them to unscrew the mess they've made?

Interesting it was the singing skill. I wonder if it has something to do with the serenading dialogue you get from the singing skill. Because it has to relate to the dialogue tree in order to be affected, right? And what skill level do you have to be to get that dialogue option again? I have been using a mod to get rid of serenading because I found it annoying. I'm going to try to see if that mod make the bug irrelevant once I update my game. Still waiting for mods to update before I update my game.

Funny, I was going to speculate that the new stuff pack with collectibles might have something connected to the Geek or Collector traits and ask if someone tried to remove them and see if that worked.

Remember when the High School Years patch was released and it has an aging up bug that came up with it. And that was cause when the devs messed with the amount of days each life stage lasted and created that bug in the scripts. Even recently when they fixed the neighborhood brawl holiday in Seasons, but created a new bug where the first three Sims listed in the CAS order got to celebrate holidays.

I'm curious to how the singing skill got messed up based on either the bug fixes or the new stuff pack coming out on Thursday.

Anyway, time to lay off the karaoke or visiting karaoke bars for a while. 😋

Sims cannot interact anymore since update

This new February 27th update has rendered my Sims useless. When I click on then to perform a command, nothing happens. No word bubbles appear, nothing. They are just standing there. They have autonomy, but that's it. I can't tell them to change clothes, to go jogging...nothing. They were fine BEFORE this patch...now it's pretty much unplayable. Please fixed this issue and not take two months doing so.

@KAJ3D All my saved games in the Sims4 folder have the same issue. Resatrting the game and then other Sims have the issue... The more I restart the game the more sims show the issue
