Sim won't stop showering using the shower with bathtub

So I make my sim go to shower using the shower with tub and he would just go in and start showering but never finishes (the green duration around the action won't show either). I tried using other sims as well and it happens the same thing. I tried deleting the shower/tub and buying a new one, it still has the same problem. Now I tried buying a regular shower without the tub and it works perfectly fine. Does anybody has the same problem? I need help fixing it.

Mine is doing the exact same thing. This new update had a glitch. When will they fix it? 🙄

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? (No idea)
What happens when the bug occurs? ( Sims will get into the shower, hygiene does not go up and they will stay in the shower until I exit them out..)
What do you expect to see? (For my sims hygiene to go up)

Please describe the patch or change you made. I updated my game 2019-12-13.. didnt happen until I updated it

My combo tub/shower is also having issues.  Has anyone noticed hygiene decaying much quicker as well?

I just got this issue right after updated the new update !!! Even some bugs have been fixed(such as the havest problem), but this issue makes the whole game totally unplayable!

Same issue here. Combo bath and shower does not refill hygiene bar when showering.

Here too.  I clicked me too.  I deleted all shower tub combos for now, which with as many toddlers as I have right now, will be super fun (NOT) and things seem to be okay.
