In the meantime, MCCC has it working! I've recently been able to reach the onsen without the llama showing up and then reached the summit because of the latest MCCC update!

Which version of MCCC? I have 2021_4_1 but my onset lot is still corrupted. Same llama picture. 

Did you change any specific setting? Change anything else?

@FridaLouiseS I'm so sorry it's my UI Cheats mod that has it working...please check it out! The latest version he even says has it working!

which ui cheats mod do you use?

I have both mccc and ui cheats and I tried it just now by having my sim travel to the onset lot first and it still didn't work.

This bug just occurred in my game and sad to see that it's been going on since MAY 2021?! Tried everything and nothing is working. This NEED to be fixed ASAP? I'm shocked that such a huge part of the expansion pack isn't working. Writing this in January 2022....

I have the same problem,  every event makes me come Back in a loop in the scenarious maps, and when i make escape, it's start a infinity chargement of the game, then me necessary restart the pc for unlock the game...

This bug seems to be fixed - My sims were able to start the mountain excursion and climb the top of the mountain successfully.
