[FIXED] [S] Work Day turns into Holiday on it's own

[ Edited ]
★★★★ Novice

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? n/a
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Seasons and Pets
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I'm not sure how to duplicate it
What happens when the bug occurs? Everyday has suddenly become a holiday. So none of my Sims go to work. I can make them go to work and they will get promoted. They get paid for the "holiday." The bug starts exactly 1 hour before work, when it turns to "Holiday" instead of "Work in 1 hour."
What do you expect to see? Not sure.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Hero

Fixed an issue where on days where no holiday was set to occur, a Sim’s work schedule would update to falsely indicate that the day was a Holiday just prior to going to work, causing the Sim to stay home for the day.

Fixed in Patch 1.51.75

Would you be willing to share your save with me ?

If so, please zip your saves folder and upload it somewhere like dropbox, mediafire, googledrive or OneDrive and PM me the link.

Hi @majik1213

I can duplicate this on your save.

Do you have any idea when this started ? Do you maybe have a backup from before this started happening ?

I wish I knew, but I am not sure what triggered it because it was one of those things where it was hard to notice because there are holidays in the game.  I am wondering if I can uninstall just the seasons add on pack, load the game, and reinstall the seasons addon?  If I can disable the seasons addon, there won't be anymore holidays, so perhaps it will force it to fix itself?

You can disable the pack like this: https://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2017/03/disable-single-packs/

Seasons is EP05

Thank you! I disabled the pack using command line argument

-disablepacks:EP05

I reloaded and the sims started working again. I then saved and quit and reloaded without the command line argument and they still go to work! I will keep my eyes peeled for what triggers this bug, but for now, all is well!  Just note this solution does involve any items you had with the seasons pack to disappear, but you can go ahead and repurchase them afterwards.

Great. I will mark that as workaround for now.

Hi @Songbird116

I merged your post with an existing thread on this.

You can try the workaround posted but be aware of the consequences that all seasons items you may have placed will be gone afterwards.

Do you have any idea when it started happening ? Also are you using mods/cc in your game ?

Hi,
Um workaround? This sounds annoying because I have been using the seasons fine since Tuesday night. Now its Thursday and only just started happening. Idk why and I do not use mods/cc
