Inventory Items disappearing

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.65.70.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything except Pets and My First Pet stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Download nifty knitting pack. Have items in your personal inventory, and travel to a community lot.
What happens when the bug occurs? I have two adults and a toddler. They all have items in their inventory, but when I traveled from home lot to Flea Market, all items disappeared. I returned home, but the items did not reappear. I added items to their inventories (Plasma packs, Plasma Fruit, harvestables from gardening) and visited the community lot Grim's Quarry. On arrival at the quarry the inventory for all reverted to what was in it before I visited the fleamarket. At the Quarry I did dumpster diving and obtained a couple of items in one adult's inventory. On return home, Adult who dumpster dived only had the items they had found on Quarry lot - all other items gone. Adult and toddler who had items from before fleamarket travel and did not obtain items at Quarry had no change but did not recover items from before Quarry travel.
What do you expect to see? Items staying in inventory and not disappearing.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Uploaded new pack Nifty Knitting.

I have tried revisiting places and returning home to try to recover items without success.

@nagaqueen13 Do you have any LastExceptions in your doc folder you could upload ?

Either create a .rar file and upload that or c/p the content to a post within spoiler tags

I have the same issue. It's a bit annoying bc i am playing a rags to riches and my sim lives from dumpsterdiving. But everything keeps disappearing from hus inventory.

@VaasMontemando In your case it looks like you have the father Winter Baby trait issue:

Ghosts that have the trait and unhoused Sims

For ghosts, if you know who they are, I would send them to the netherwolds (not sure if that works), for unhoused, move them in somewhere.

You can also remove the trait with a cheat: traits.remove_trait HolidayTradition_FatherWinterBaby

You need either to make the SIm that has the trait active or find out it's ID: sims.get_sim_id_by_name <first name> <last name>

Make sure to put testingcheats first

If you don't know which Sims have the trait, let me know

found the sim and removed the trait. i'll let you know if it fixed the bug Standard smile

Items disappearing from inventory

Hello simmers!

I have this problem with items that are disappearing from my sims's inventory.

She lives in a dorm close to her university, and whenever she travels, everything she has with her will just disappear... Outside of her homework.

The first time this occurred i just bought a new book (i think it was a book), but now she also lost shells, a kinda pricey laptop and a poster.

This is just really annoying, you know Standard smile 

Does anyone know how i can avoid this?

I don't use any mods or CC.

My game is updated and i tried repairing it, but that didn't really help.

@JolienAnn Do you have any lastexception files in your documents folder ?

If so, could you upload those ?

Either create a .rar file and upload that or c/p the content to a post within spoiler tags

I'm not really into all of this technical stuff so i have no idea with a .rar file is or spoiler tags... :')  Oh, i see that this smiling emoji is called 'insert spoiler tag'.

Should i copy the lastexecption file in there?

I added a screenshot to this reply, you should be able to see that i have indeed some 'lastexpection' documents, even some 'lastcrash' ones.
