[FIXED] [RoM] Magical clones can become permanent [ Edited ]

Which language are you playing the game in? Русский язык
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
What is your current game version number? 1.55.105.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure. Create a magical clone and maybe try to use some magic on it and then travel through different locations
What happens when the bug occurs? The magical clone becomes permanent.
What do you expect to see? Magical clones supposed to exist only temporarily
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I don't really know how to replicate this. But one of my magical clones became a "real sim". It cannot be commanded anymore and it won't disappear. The game even added the clone to family tree, but it doesn't recognize her as a "clone", just a simple sibling of the original sim. The clone can be invited to the family - which I did, after changing her appearance I really like this bug, lol:

Maybe some spells like frozen or morph affected it, maybe me changing locations while the clone was still active, I don't know.

@rostsit Maybe similar to the skeleton permanent issue.

Could you check the Sims hidden traits with SimsInfo or upload your save ?

Could you also please enter your exact game version instead of latest ?

Yeas, this is clone's info.

Why "Infected" trait is suspicious? The original sim-spellcaster was infected while casting a cloning spells, so all her clones were also infected. But only one became permanent so far. Besides, some people on sims forums have also reported their clones became permanent - but no further details have been given.

@rostsit Same thing happened to me. My magical clone was an EXACT replica of the original, down to all skills, spells, traits, everything.

I kinda like them being permanent. It's like the cloning machine from GTW only better. The cloning machine didn't copy things like skills and spells and such.

@Psychotps I think cloning machine does copy skills... Haven't tried it with spells, though.

@rostsitIt doesn't copy skills. I've done it many many times. I wrote a Scientist career mod to get Gardening working again on the Science lab lot and have played through it many times to test. It copies aspirations and traits, but not skills.

I've actually only played through it once so far. Just updated a number of lots in Glimmerbrook and am doing another playthrough.

I like them being permanent. It makes the spell a lot more ominous to cast that it has such far-reaching consequences.

Same thing happened to me just now and I only noticed it when my Sim got an invite for a duel from his clone. 

I did have my Sim travel home while the clone was still active, so that might be what triggered it.

seems she has her own life now.. lol
