[FIXED] Reaper's Rewards: Newsletter not delivered/Mailman stuck [ Edited ]

I asked for expedited mail delivery so that I could access the Ambrosia Society Newsletter right away. A mail lady showed up and just kept saying hello to the mailboxes on loop without delivering the mail. I interrupted her by introducing my sim to her; now she’s sitting on my couch and hasn’t delivered the mail. After a few minutes it gave me the option again to have my mail delivery expedited. They sent a new mail lady to my apartment and again, she’s just looping saying hello to the mailboxes and won’t stop. I don’t know what to do to complete the last task!

I have a video but it says the video is “too big” of a file so I don’t know what to share.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to compl the reaper rewards, and expedite the mail delivery 
What happens when the bug occurs? The mail delivery person shows up and just greets the mailboxes on repeat 
What do you expect to see? Them deliver the mail
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No, they are disabled right now.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No.

This should now be resolved with today's patch, along with the Wait for/Read Newsletter Task Not Completing issue. If you haven't already, please be sure to update your game before logging back in to give this another try.

How often does the bug occur? Just started the issue as I just started playing again because of the Reaper event
What is your current game version number?  1.100.147.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed?  The SIms 4 Vampires, 4 Tiny Living, 4 Spooky Stuff, 4 Seasons, 4 Romanic Garden Stuff,  4 my first pet stuff, 4 movie handout stuff, 4 Holiday Celebration, 4 Dine Out, 4 Cool Kitchen Stuff,  4 Backyard Stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Wait for the mail person to deliver mail
What happens when the bug occurs? The Mail Person waves their hand and stands there
What do you expect to see? They deliver the mail and leave
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Not sure because I have not played very often over the past 2 years. 

Two mailman already came to the door and are stuck and can't reach the mailbox.

yep ive had the same problem with a regular mailbox

This won't work for OP but maybe for you ?

@MissAshley686 in addition to @crinrict suggestion, have you tried replacing your mailbox? I saw someone comment elsewhere that worked for them.

The bug template is sometimes not being displayed due to high traffic.

I had this too and it was fixed after I closed and relaunched the game

Lol. I did this and it delivered the mail but nothing happened when I read the newsletter. And now the task bar has disappeared from the left.
