Since the new update (31st January 2023), my game constantly crashes. I’m playing on PS4. I can’t play for more than 2 minutes without it crashing.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Load the Sims4 and play it....it will crash. Once it crashes the first time it will continually crash every few minutes and sometimes instantly once the game loads.
What happens when the bug occurs? I have video I can email ; During game play it just shuts down Next black screen comes up and and says: at the top - "Something went wrong with this game or app." ; in the middle - The Sims (tm) 4 ; Bottom of same screen "checking the error status..." with a bar underneath that goes up to 100% After the above screen reaches 100% the next screen says: Something went wrong with this game or app...Reporting this error to Sony interasctive Entertainment helps improve PS5 hardware, software, and services..... Then it gives you the option to report which I have several times
What do you expect to see? I have followed the suggestions to resolve the issue -Deleted/Reinstall game (work for maybe 20 minutes then started crashing again) -Start PS5 in safe mode, rebuild database - Deleted/Reinstall - chose earlier save - system crashed again What do I expect: I expect for the game to play without crashing
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Installed your SIms4 recent update This happens on console and on my PS5 Remote Play on the computer

Please reach out to me to let me know you are resolving this issue. It would be a great feature to give us the choice to update the game or not. I would not update the SIMS4 until maybe weeks after a fix due to the fixes can make it worse. I have lost a baby I gave birth too and that save is currupted as I can access another SIM home I didn't create after the crash. I had to start all over and lose the new baby my Sim gave birth to.

I play on my PS5 and PS remote play on the computer/app. Since the 1/31 update I haven't been able to enjoy my play. My Sim had just given birth and got engaged. I lost that play. When the game crashed and I went back in to resume (auto saved) - I was able to access another home that wasn't any of my households. Therefore in order to play I had to start a pre-saved game and lost my baby. Thankfully the save game from before the update my Sim was in her 1st trimester.

Angry that I can’t enjoy my game

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? City Living, Vampires, Cottage Living, Cats and Dogs, Get Together, Moschino stuff pack, Get to work
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Don't know, it keeps happening when I play the game, sometimes on loading screen and sometimes after 5 - 10 mins of game play
What happens when the bug occurs? The whole screen goes black and goes back to xbox home screen. Then when I go back on the game starts again and I've lost any progress I just made.
What do you expect to see? For it to not cut off so I can play sims for hours again

Please describe the patch or change you made. After the new sims update 01/31/23 this has started happening

I haven't been able to play it for 2 days now, whenever I try and play with my existing family it knocks off but if I make a new family the game seems to run fine, then as soon as I go back to my original family, it knocks off

I would love to give you some feedback, but unfortunately I haven't been able to enter build mode since the update, as my game crashes within minutes of loading. It's literally unplayable atm. (PS5)

I usually just turn my console off for 5mins an then back on to avoid this. These days I turn my Xbox off when it isnt in use to avoid this from happening when I try and load up.

@rentasusama Aver si lo arreglan ya el parche a mi me paso una vez hace tiempo y despues lo arreglaron. Yo estoy en consola
