@Stashleyyy Same here on ps4. I seriously hope they get to this quick. Even build mode has been messing up and not letting me change swatches or toggle from selecting to placement. So pissed

All they did was enable adjustments for display and UI (text [box] sizes and menus) so that it can be larger on screens and build mode is more like PC so we don’t have to keep opening the menu each time. THIS was actually the most helpful but it barely works. I can’t click items and place them or change swatches cuz the cursor gets confused lmao

My game keeps crashing ever since the new update. It’s really annoying. In build mode too now, it has way more lag every time I click on a new thing (especially walls), but I don’t know if that’s just me. 

Build mode is now too hard to use. I was trying to build yesterday but it’s such a hassle. Click what you want, click the item, place it, and suddenly I’m out of the normal build mode for PlayStation… and have to use it like I’m on pc — scroll, click… I cant scroll that fast! And it’s annoying switching back to the old way every time because you have to click everything AGAIN only for it to switch back to the newest version!!! And the fact that I can’t change colours on the UI anymore is driving me crazy, because I have to actually put the item down and it takes way longer. (Sometimes it doesn’t work, sometimes it does.) The build mode UI at the bottom is really annoying and takes up a lot of space. I much preferred when it disappeared, even if it meant clicking everything again… that’s something I was used to and didn’t mind. Please remove this new update somehow!

Has anyone else had issues with their game crashing at random. I’ve uninstalled it reinstalled it have the current and up-to-date version. I’ve deleted almost all of my Sims except for the one that I’m currently playing. I’ve even moved to a smaller lot with a smaller house And I still keep crashing at random

I have been having issues with getting into the game since the Sims 4 Base game update a few days ago. Initially I could get into the game but after a few minutes it would shut down completely. The game now won’t even load into my save at all. I have tried shutting down the game myself while on the main page, rebooting the Xbox and every other possible option. Can someone please help me with this?

Yep same, I had no problems until 2 patch updates ago, when they said that they had fixed this problem. Then all of a sudden the problem showed up when it hadnt before. Great.  Last time I had this problem nothing worked and I ended up having to totally wipe the game and start over

Not sure if this helped or just lucky, I went in and cleared the reserved space (1Gb) for the sims. So far it seems to be stable. Still saving after travel just to be sure.

All I can say is I can’t even get to build mode with the latest patch as it crashes consistently around every 15 minutes without warning.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I have been playing 1 character household. First time I was going to use telescope and second time tend garden but I also had several tasks on queue. Both times I think I had a visitor/friend also on the house.
What happens when the bug occurs? Game crashes out of nowhere, shuts down and gives PS4 error message.
What do you expect to see? I expect that the game doesn't shut down like that. I have lost around 2 hours of gameplay in total which really kills the joy. Now I don't want to play anymore until this issue is fixed.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.

Game crashes (shuts down) out of nowhere after latest patch. Unfortunately it seems there is not 1 specific thing that causes the crash. It has now happened twice and I was doing different things, just basic gameplay on 1 person household, on the lot/garden.

I have sent PS4 error reports both times but I guess they only go to Sony.
