Sims 4 ps4 keep crashing after 1.69 update

@rentsusama I’m on Xbox and this happens nearly every 10 minutes.

Works great until update on xbox S. I've uninstalled I've reset the xbox over 20 times. Only all together 1 hour of game time. And I just got really into sims 4 now the fun I had got ripped away. I've deleted my original save before the update and started new lucky for me I saved my my favourite house hold. But still can't play it because of the random crashes. Please EA fix it or un do the update. So far when playing it before this update i was having fun finally a game that I'm not getting chased by something that wants to turn me into red paste or blow me up with a high powered rocket. Now yea now as load up, 5 minutes 10 minutes 1 hour if I'm lucky crash crash crash. Why is this happening and when i was considering get ready for school dlc I was really locking forward to what I had planned for my vampires teens but know nope just endless crashes at very random times. The one game I've got that don't involve me getting horrible abomination monsters or something else just as terrifying trying to turn me into chunky musterd won't work as it use to. Thats just great

 Please EA please own up and fix this I miss playing the best game to me I've ever played.

I’m having the same issue. Only if I’m actively playing a household. In build mode I can be there all day but 15 minutes into playing a household it goes black and kicks me back to the Xbox Home Screen. I have been playing nonstop over the weekend and the last couple days and didn’t have this problem at all until after the update last night. If it’s any consolation I don’t think it’s possible to lose your expansion packs. I’ve deleted sims and all expansion packs multiple times. I have 18 expansions and never had to pay to redownload them. Unless there’s a way to completely delete the data from your Microsoft account, can’t say I’ve ever looked into it, you should always have them.

@rentsusama yea same thing with me lol. even when I try to get my sim to workout he just freezes on the equipment, then the game crashes. this new update was cool but kinda messed up the game

Same here, wont play for more than 1 minute before it crashes. Only started after the latest update. Already re installed the game multiple times, initialized my ps4 (just in case) but nothing works.

Same issue ps5 here.

Edit: I also have all content installed/purchased in case that matters. I bought all the kits today to complete my dlc collection...only for the game to not work

@rentsusama Same for me on ps4 and I’m so pissed cuz this update was supposed to improve console experience and now the entire thing crashes??? The UI changes have done nothing for me and now the whole game is screwed. Thanks EA, once again doing a sloppy job on one of your longest running games

Yeah. I haven’t even had the time to look at the new stuff that they added and I didn’t want to do anything drastic to fix my game just in case it delete my legacy family.
