Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I’m not sure how to fix the problem, I wouldn’t be reporting this as of 2023 if I had a job in creating games...
What happens when the bug occurs? I can’t bring my Toggle Cursor back from disappearing even when I hit the middle Cursor on my game controller...
What do you expect to see? My sim came back from going out and my mouse Cursor disappeared and won’t come back...
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

My toggle Cursor keeps disappearing and the mouse won’t appear after I've tried EVERYTHING!!!

it is April 26, 2023 nothing has been FIXED!!!

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Log on. It says items were removed. Play for not even 5 minutes and it’ll happen
What happens when the bug occurs? The curser disappears. You click the bottle to toggle curser to fix it. It just goes back and fourth between top of screen (build mode, map, etc) to bottom of the screen (needs, work, etc)
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to use my curser to move and interact with objects.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.

This happens EVERY TIME I PLAY. It is updated fully. This is a BRAND new console. No mods. Nothing. I bought cottageliving and I don’t want to delete the game but I can’t even play.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? go into build mode or CAS and spawn something from Gallery or just try to create something using the menus in any way.
What happens when the bug occurs? unable to use the Cursor in anyway and unable to select anything to moe in buildmode or parts of the body in CAS
What do you expect to see? being able to use the Cursor in anyway so i can acually do anything at all

I had a Dirty Save over 300hour save but it finally broke and i stopped playing Sims 4 for a while seen the new pack came out and thought you know what might hop back on and try it again now i have 90% of all DLCs only missing few small kits and i don't need nor want anything in them so i will start a new world and just repopulate eveything again and get all the houses and such back i buy the new DLC and redownload the whole game i get into th game i go New game or even tried loading an old game and i am unabe to use the Cursor system to select anything that isn't in the menus in live mode CAS or build mode it works for about half a secon then i need to use the Menu system for something and i am unable to go back and use the Cursor system even if i select Cursor or anything it does not work, i have tried trouble shooting with deleting then redownloading the game, clearing Che in th console and the game i have tired new batteries and everything, EA never replies to the emails anymore so im going to try this, i just bought the new DLC and now own pretty much everything and if i am now unable to play my game at all then this is BS and needs to be addressed or fixed because i spent way to much money on this game and if it is now unplayable i would like my money back atleast im sure someone here will understand the frustration i am currently facing.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to gallery download a house try to rotate it and the cursor will disappear.
What happens when the bug occurs? You can't do anything but go through the option on the top bar but you can't select anything.
What do you expect to see? The cursor so I can move the house...

@pensgirl2971 The cursor vanishing is one of the problems console players have been experiencing since patch 1.69 in January. There's a thread here with some other issues you may also notice in your game. I've tried to compile a list on page 67 of the various problems and bugs we are seeing.

Communication has been a little scarce but we're told fixes are being looked at and will happen at some point.

To get the cursor back I start by going to Manage Worlds, or if that doesn't work I exit to the Main Menu. That usually works or if not I restart my console. I'm on Xbox Series X and it's happening on all consoles from what I've seen. It usually happens to me after a few hours of building.

The rotation is an issue I found on my own builds too. I can't rotate houses but can sometimes rotate lots. I can't find anything to help that as it seems to be broken for me.

Thanks for the update it is just driving me crazy. They game is so frustrating sometimes I don't even want to play it. However  I am happy to know it's not just me thank you for telling me.

@pensgirl2971 No it's definitely not just you. It's causing so much frustration I've had it on my Xbox Series S and then got my brand new Series X and it happened again, grrr.
Fingers crossed we get fixes for console controls soon.

whenever i get in the game my cursor is gone but i can still do stuff so im literally so confused and ive closed the application and restarted my ps4 multiple times
