[CURRENT ISSUE] [PC] Lags/Freezes since Patch 1.88 (Pronouns)

@crinrict I was so sure that I had inactivated the card xD Turns out that I went back to the original drivers (from 2016 or something) to get rid of my previous animation glitches (it was really bad, things flickered).

I've installed the latest drivers now, restarted the computer, and the TS4 freezes are even worse than before :S Every loading screens freeze two times now. At least I don't seem to have the flickering that made me go back to earlier drivers in the first place.

Thanks to all that have provided information about this issue thus far.  The team is still investigating.

Another question - does the issue still occur if you run the game without an internet connection?

I'm currently having an issue where the Sims 4 stops responding every 10-15 seconds. This started just after the pronoun update on Tuesday. I've since factory reset the entire system and ran a DxDiag thingy. My computer isn't the best, but I've never had any issues with it.

I did like you the dxdiag and a priori I am not under AMD. Can you confirm me?

@Nox0286 Hm, yeah, you have a Nvidia card but your drivers are outdated (from 2019). Can you check if you find an update ?

EDIT: Since you're also still on Windows 8.1 I'm not sure how that influences the whole issue. Would def be a good idea to check on your drivers, maybe even uninstall and reinstall: https://crinrict.com/blog/2019/02/clean-re-install-of-graphics-drivers-with-display-driver-uninstall...

@SimQARobo  I can confirm, for me at least, running in offline mode has no effect. It freezes online and off line.

@BHopper2 Did you turn off the entire Internet connection or just go offline in Origin ?
