[CURRENT ISSUE] [PC] Stop and go Lags/freezes since Patch 1.88 (Pronouns)

@crinrictWatching. Started the game while livestream was playing in active window and game would only show white screen and the music starting over and over again. Force closed the game. Started game again with livestream playing in background and now i'm able to play the game again.

@MoniekJ Did your CPU/RAM/GPU usage go up really high while you were watching the videos ?

Do you by chance have a lastCrash.txt file in your doc folder ?

Yeah my game only does the freezing. But it freezes every 10 seconds and lasts for an minute. However the freezing seems to happen even while the main menu is loading. I have done a few ways to see if I can fix it, such as repairs, uninstall - reinstalls, deleting the entire Sims 4 folder (I was prepared for losing all saved data, nothing to really worry about) and scanning but nothing worked and nothing was found. I think maybe the update was the problem so I really hope it gets fixed soon, I love this game and I want to just uninstall it and leave it untouched for a few months.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the game with the videocards listed in this thread.
What happens when the bug occurs? Game freezes for couple seconds, time tasks autonomy moodlets etc do continue. Happens every couple seconds to few minutes.
What do you expect to see? The game without any regular stop-and-go lagging.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes

Got this one. But based on the time stamp, it doesnt seem to be including the crash when I started watching the live stream.

Edit: Game does load when livestream is already playing. 

Game has to share about 60-70% of CPU with google chrome. Game is bit slower now, but does work. RAM and GPU hasn't changed much compared to before start of livestream. 

Before this patch-update, Ive been watching video's in full screen mode in chrome for hours while playing Sims4 with no trouble.

• Did you have lags before this update ? Nothing more than random slowing when I had too many processes. I closed the processes and that would fix it.
• Where does the game lag now ? Everywhere or specific areas ? The main symptom of this particular lag is that it starts from the main menu. I have experienced it lag when I am on the main menu, going to the gallery, in CAS, in Build, in Live.
• Do you play a fresh or an existing save game ? --> Looks like it's save game unrelated I have experienced it in an existing save and a brand new one (I wanted to see the new Goths)
• Are you using mods/cc and if so, have you tested without them ? --> Mods/CC have nothing to do with this issue I use very little, but I removed them for play testing purposes. Still no joy.
• How much RAM is the game using while you play ? Open the task manager and check RAM usage for the The Sims 4 (or TS4_x64.exe) process Doesn't look like it's a RAM issue. Approx 2.3MB off the top of my head. I looked at that yesterday to see.

• What is your GPU/CPU Usage ? To find out, Start the game and load a save game, then open the task manager and monitor the GPU/CPU usage under Processes/The Sims 4. It will go up and down so just post an average number. While the game is loading in the 60s. Once loaded in the 20s.
• Does it work if you go offline ? (Cut the Internet Connection, not just go offline in Origin) --> Looks like this doesn't make a difference. No.
• Are you using EA App or Origin ? --> Looks like this doesn't make a difference Origin.

There's a small patch you can download. I have no idea what it does and I don't want to get anyone's hopes up but could you guys install the patch ?
