[OPEN] Merging households through dialog doesn't proceed

@naeshelle check out my post above yours for getting Panya Li to move in because he doesn’t show in manage households so you’ll have to add your sim to his household and then remove into your sims house to get him.

Sims are married, other SIM out of world, offered to come live but when I click the tick button to move out of world SIM, buttons X in the corner and tick and phased out and unable to click

I am having trouble moving a Sim into my household, whether I choose the option to move them in after a wedding or ask them to move in. Whenever I select the "move household" option, the game freezes and I have to force shut it down. I have done multiple app recoveries and I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, I'm not sure what else I can do for it to work.

When marrying my sims, when you select option post ceremony to merge households, the game crashes after you select the people and money to move and select the tick.

It looks like the tick is not registering as although it greys out, whilst you wait you can move the people and money around again which will colour the tick back in again.

@KatPonter Does the game freeze or close (crashing is when your game closes and you're back on the desktop)

Ever since the recent update, I can't move anyone into my Sims household. There's only one Sim in the household and the move in Sim menu gets stuck on the screen. I can't get out of it, I can't check and confirm or anything. I have to exit the game to get it off my screen.

Has anyone else had this issue?

@sweeboo I've moved you to the bug report for this issue. The current workaround is to use Manage Households for this.

Hello. I am a returning player coming back and trying to do a super sim run. However, very frustratingly whenever I try to move ANYONE into my household, either townies or other household members, the game will bring up the split from household screen, and upon me moving the sim(s) into my household and pressing the checkmark button, the game just softlocks. Nothing happens, I can still change the households but even restoring to defaults will not fix the issue and I must force quit via task Manager. No mods, nearly every single dlc. Thanks in Advance for any help!

Same issue for me. It worked fine via Manage Households in the neighbourhood view.

I’m on console and trying to move sims out of households in manage worlds instantly crashes my game and trying to move my sims via phone console has been broken for months I can go on all day about the bugs I bought for rent and horse ranch and couldn’t touch either packs because of the crashes
