Merging Households Rental Lots

Every single time I try to merge households together in rentals it never works the game always freezes and it happens everytime, I've resorted to just going through manage worlds but it's not at all the same.

It should be the same bug reported in can’t merge households. Take a look and if you want tell us if it is the same for you, if you have noticed something else or there are differences between your situation and the already reported ones.

It is the same problem for me too. 

-- This appeared after "For Rent"

-- The Sim I want to merge into the current household is not in the world at the moment. 

-- If I move my current SIM to another SIM's household which is not in the world atm, that works. 

When the dialog to split/merge households appears, I can switch the sims between the households (and their money). When pressing the checkmark button to confirm, nothing happens, and the button becomes inactive. The dialog is not possible to close, because the close button on the top-right corner is inactive.

The only way to recover from this bug is to either
1) close the game and not save the progress, or
2) move into the not-current-household which is not in the world, and move back to the same house right away (and decorate the house again), and lose the ownership of the rental houses.

I play with Mac and I have the following extras:

Technical issue: after purchasing the Rental Housing package, cannot Add to Household , game freezes, Esc does not work. Before purchasing the pack, the game was working normally.

Try merging households through the household manager instead.

@crinrict i haven’t tried, i worked around the fix by placing the sim i wanted to move in, in world.

Me too.

I noticed further that when I tried to exit and re-enter the game, and merge households through Manage Households, the not-in-world household didn't show up in Manage Households at all. He was still in my sim's relationship panel, so still in the game, but had perhaps become a hidden household or some other glitch was going on.

(It happened during a stay-over-- via Growing Together-- my sim's love interest invited himself over for a three-day visit, then asked to move in partway through the visit.)

Just got my sims married and tried to move in but whenever I click the checkmark the game just stops working. I have mods downloaded and I'm not really willing to lose them

@dreagrcia It's a known issue. Use the household manager to move in Sims for now.

Whenever I try to do so, I can select sims and transfer them and funds between households. However, when I press the tick button, the game freezes and will not work. I have to crash it every time because it will not load.

I have already repaired my game but will try again.
