This is probably because the Crumplebottoms are immortal.

In my game, every reload (either because of travelling or just loading a save) of the lot means +20 days for my sims. That's it.The game is completely unplayable.

@rostsit Have the affected saves been saved? If not, they may still be saveable if the fix doesn't reverse the effects of this glitch.

I have already used a cheat code to reverse the age of each sim in all of my families. Took 2 hours of my life. +20 or +40 days is not a big issue - I just won't play it before it is fixed.

@rostsit Ah okay. I'm hoping that the fix reverses the effects of the glitch, but from a coding perspective, I'm not too sure how possible that will be with the Sims coding setup, and I'm not familiar with how the game is coded to make a judgement on how easy I think it could be to restore affected saves, hence why I'm suggesting not saving save files affected to restore them after the fix if desired / possib;e.

@SimmerStar4 It most probably won't. It's not something they can easily revert.

Best bet is a backup.

@asthehind This could rescue the save. I can't confirm. I don't think any of us can know for sure until we get the fix.
