[NEEDS SAVES] [LS] No Gallery Sim in Cupids Corner (existing lovestruck save

Same issue here—experiencing significant problems with the game from the latest Sims 4 update. The game consistently throws errors when I try to save, forcing me to use "Save As" and resulting in longer loading times every time.

Here’s what I’ve done to try and fix it:

• Played without any mods.
• Disabled and re-enabled the gallery Sims setting in the game settings.
• Cleared cache files and removed thumbcache, etc.
• Repaired the game via the launcher.
• Tested across different households on a legacy save.

Nothing works so far and it’s quite disappointing to face these problems. And seeing sims from the gallery was one of the main features that I was really looking forward to.

I can confirm this is fixed for me in new saves however I'm still not seeing my cas sims I favorited show up.

I am so sad and upset with this issue! I only purchased this pack for Cupid's Corner and the ability to be matched with gallery sims. It is frustrating to not have the pack work as advertised.

@Baby088 My post might get deleted for this but this was exactly my thought as well! Not only does it not work as advertised, but the issue is being labeled 'Resolved' when it's not! It baffles me that the update to fix the feature doesn't fix it! I had a previous post saying I wanted the sims team to try playing with the Gallery sims feature on their own personal computers (not whatever set up's they may be using in the office) to see just how the patch didn't fix a thing because the bug is clear as day not fixed and it got deleted on the grounds of it being rude...

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Cupid's Corner, it won't show any gallery sims.

What do you expect to see? I expect to see Gallery sims in Cupid's Corner, as well as the Sims I go on dates with to reach out with unique messages.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Please describe the patch or change you made. This was the first patch since Lovestruck was realized that the issues happened.

When Lovestruck first came out, it worked perfectly for a DAY.

Then a patch came after and it stopped working. For example. The first day, Sims from the gallery would show, there would be unique message from the Sims my Sims went on dates with when I got home or just randomly, it was cool, it wasn't just a regular date it had some realism to it. Then something happened where a bug was fixed, and this caused me an even bigger bug. I don't complain I've never made one of these but honestly just fed up. I've played this game for sooooo long. Right.

So Cupid's Corner stopped pulling ANY gallery sims, still doesn't after the 1.108.349.1020 patch, why are we releasing patches without testing further? Cupids Corner now doesn't take any time to load (awesome yes??) , but its because i realized its just recycling a bunch of Sims I've already seen, NOTHING is new. What is the fun in that? Also, any unique messages from Sims i've been on "dates" with stopped, its just like I'm playing the game with no expansion pack and how it was before. There is nothing unique and new and that's what was exciting the first day I got Lovestruck, now all of that is gone. Can I get a genuine fix please?

Yes, I've clicked and unclicked the Cupid's Corner game pack option tabs a million times, tried it a million different ways. Its just not working anymore, even after this recent patch and I know it CAN work because I had it the first day it came out.

@isevenserIt seems to work if you start a new game. Even though it's working it isn't pulling my favorite cas sims I made onto Cupids Corner. My own sims won't show up which is discouraging.

I would love that if I didn't have hundreds of hours on this save :/

I just find it weird they're saying its fixed when its really not. I should be able to open my existing save and play without issues. Makes me very worried if I do all the work to recreate worlds, sims and relationships on a new save, and a new expansion comes out and something along the same lines happens It would of all been for nothing.

So, I commented here a few days ago about how playing on a pre-Lovestruck save didn't show the matchmaking error, I've been playing on it ever since without any problems. Today, the same error happened on this save and now again I don't see any sims from the gallery in Cupid's corner on this "new" save. I think it's a bug that may not show up at first, but eventually it will and I don't know what happens for it to happen.

tl;dr: the last exception will happen, sooner or later.

I am commenting to say that I was talking to someone in a Sims 4 group on Facebook who asked the same question. They weren't getting any gallery Sims, and I have noticed that I am not either. It would be nice if my Sims could not date old branches of my family that I am intentionally leaving without a partner.
