[FIXED] [LDSP] Clean dry clothes in laundry hamper [ Edited ]

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all except bowling and pets
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? play with laundry day stuff pack, try to do laundry from hamper
What happens when the bug occurs? options under do laundry on the hamper are greyed out with the mouseover explanation being that the clothes are clean and dry. this makes the hamper useless until it is deleted and repurchased
What do you expect to see? I expect worn clothes in the hamper to be dirty and able to be placed in the washing machine or wash tub
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

About half the time my sim tries to do laundry, the hamper is full of clean dry clothes instead of dirty clothes. the only way past this is to delete the hamper and repurchase it. my game is very modded but I tested this on an unmodded game and it still happens

Adding clean clothes to a pile of dirty clothes will no longer prevent the Sims from washing the clothing. And adding dirty clothes to a pile of clean clothes will no longer prevent the Sims from washing the clothing.

have you deleted your cache files and tried on a fresh save with no mods or just removed the mods ?

So something is wrong.  I started a fresh game with a single sim household.  No mods or CC in the game.

First change of clothes produced dirty clothes in the hamper.

The first wash, using flower additives, was no problem.

Washing was dried on the line and put away.

Then all changes of clothes were 'clean and dry' in the hamper and no wash could be done.

It appears that as soon as a wash, dry and put away (I used flower additives) has been completed the clothes are 'clean and dry' when they are discarded to the hamper or in a pile on the floor.

I've seen Guru Graham's reply, but it's not helping. He thinks we're clicking the wrong option and that it's not possible in game. It's happening to a fair few of us. I have no mods or CC and it's happened to me. I hope it gets resolved, it's just frustrating

He said they were looking into it, right ? So this is currently under investigation.

If you have more info on repro steps to share, that would be helpful.

Hi, I do not even have this option in the game because my sims will not make laundry at all. I do not know what to do?!

I do not have the option on the pictures where it says "do laundry" and my sims have never made any laundry or had any dirty clothes piles on the floor

Any mods in your game ? If so, please remove.
