[OPEN] Grilled food is placed in sims inventory

I was at the spice festival and there was a sim who kept grilling food nonstop and put about 5 or more things of grilled food in his inventory. That's sure gonna stink later 😲😁

Same. My husband is refusing to play his PC game since Sulani came out for this very reason he was living off the grid & grilling is the ONLY food source for that for him & one of his sims starved to death. Loaded the save to just before the death & found the family father who was the designated griller had over 20 plates of spoiled hot dogs in his pockets (inventory). That was my husbands breaking point he nearly broke a mouse. I play on PS4 & have the same issue. I DAILY check every inventory for rotten food. Hundreds of simoleons are thrown away to grilling platters that literally have never had a single item taken. The SIM grills the food them takes a bowl of cereal from the cooler for their actual food. They don't even eat when is in their pocket inventory. It's maddening.

I had a sim in Sulani grill some fruit to complete a holiday tradition, and the second he was done grilling it, he put it in his inventory. I had to drag it out of his inventory and onto a table myself so that it could actually be served!

Update:

Due to this bug, any Sim you invite over to the house will end up serving all the spoiled grilled foods on any surface.

@hestiah23 Yeah, seems to also happen for restaurants.

same on XB1 since the latest patch grilled food mostly ends up in the sims inventory.

@JCStormy2 I am also having the issue with sims not sitting to eat, even if once they have a serving I direct them to sit.

SG NIck told me on Twitter earlier today (patch day) that they're still working on this issue. :/ If anyone on here isn't opposed to a mod fix, there is one available by LilMsSam that fixes this. (easy to find with a search engine)

A mod can't fix the console issues though. So there is that.
