@MJTiny Is this similar to what you're seeing?

If so, I can merge your post with that bug report. Please do test those particular glasses if you haven't already.

Yes, that's the same as what's happening with my Sims, thanks. I tried a few other glasses, and it seemed to be just the ones I posted (from base game and the packs I own) that are broken.

I don't see a distortion on all the glasses, but these eye glasses from Movie Hangout Stuff are very clearly broken on this Sim. This was taken on a new save with no custom content or mods. Platform is Mac (OS Sonoma 14.5).
I just tried these same glasses on another Sim with drastically different results. This Sim is using the new eyelashes, and my original Sim was not, so the new eyelashes don't seem to make a difference.
I think it has to be something to do with the eye, forehead, or overall head shape of the Sim.

Hello! Does anyone know what's causing this glitch? I took everything off my sim except the glasses and it's still doing this weird texture thing.

@Merlinismybaby It appears to be a game bug caused by the latest game patch. It's happening in my game too.
These captures are from my no-mods/no-CC (never modded) test save with the latest game patch (on PC). This Sim is not wearing lashes, make-up, or any other accessory.

The amount of distortion I am seeing in the frames seems to vary depending on which forehead shape preset I use on my Sim. These two pics are from the same Sim where the only change I made is to her forehead shape preset in CAS. One forehead shape preset causes a lot of distortion to the frames, while another preset causes very little distortion.
I tried changes some of the other face sliders but they didn't seem to make any difference. I'll keep trying a few more things and update this post if I find anything.
EDIT: The shape of the eyebrows are also affecting the amount of distortion I am seeing. If I drag the eyebrows slider around, I can change the amount of distortion I am seeing on the frames. So maybe it is that slider rather than the forehead slider, or a combination of both.

I am seeing the exact same thing. I wasn't sure if it was eye shape, forehead, or overall shape of the head, but it does seem to be the forehead preset.

Unfortunately, it is happening with all round glasses in my game
