[FIXED] Game crashing while trying to save rooms [ Edited ]

What do you expect to see? This to be fixed
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes

My game and my wifes game are crashing while trying to save a room to our library. This only started after todays patch. Lots can be saved as normal but still not able to save rooms.

Hello.

We've deployed a hotfix server-side, so hopefully saving rooms no longer crashes for you.

If you're still seeing crashing when saving to library, try entering text into the description.

If that still doesn't help, let us know.

Guys am I the only one with this problem? I cannot save a room in my gallery after the update. The game basically crashing.

When I save a room or house in build mode it shuts my whole game down and completely closes the sims. It started as soon as I opened the game after the update and it's happening without any mods I even tried preparing the game but it is still broken. Instead of saving your room or house to your gallery, it closes your game please help.

@Irosewood3 What platform are you playing on ?

Do you have any LastException/lastCrash files in your documents folder ?

Best is to delete the ones you have, then trigger the error and check if new ones are created.

HI @K0-Anya. Check Broken/Updated Mods for some things already reported broken or updated for this patch. If you still have issues after that, try testing without mods: Exit Sims 4 then drag your Mods folder to your desktop. Then delete the file called localthumbcache from Document > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. If you think you might accidentally forget to exit without saving after testing, copy your Saves folder to your desktop too, to back it up. Now open Sims 4 and see if you still have the problem. If you don't, you can start the process of figuring out what from your Mods folder was causing it.

Confirmed now to be not mod-related.

Just posting to confirm that I can reproduce this, with an empty Mods folder and after deleting cache files. I tested on a base game build. The full lot saved to the Library. Saving a room caused the entire game to crash to desktop.

Yes i have done the same as you. cache files deleted i also did a game repair and still getting the same bug.

@luthienrising As i always do i've backed up my game saves. I've also tyied a new game save and still getting the same bug crashing while trying to save a room.
