The Sims 4 ps5 menu won’t open

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? After trying to open the Simology tab on my teen sim, the pause menu will not open. The Simology tab also does not open.
What happens when the bug occurs? I am unable to save my game or close it. I am unable to see info on my sim like age and such.
What do you expect to see? I expect the menus to open.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I can’t save or close my game after the newest update. The problem occurs after attempting to open the Simology tab.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? By playing a family and going to the Simology pannel as a teen or a child
What happens when the bug occurs? The panels for needs, carrer, etc don't show up for any sims anymore and I can't acces build mode, the galery, world edit, etc. and I can't save the game or go back to the main menu. I can still play with a lot of lagging but I can't save or close the game.
What do you expect to see? The normal Simology panel and afterwards the normal panels
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Please describe the patch or change you made. It startet after the recent Sims 4 patch. After the update for the new expansion pack it still worked, but after the patch for the mean sims, etc. it doesn't work anymore

Just loaded my game up to see if there’s any improvement and a notification came up saying to activate dx11 so I followed the guide in the browser checked I could use it on my laptop (I can) I activated it then loaded my game up again still no improvement. Everything is still exactly how it was before doing dx11, what’s going on when is this going to be fixed? From the lengthy amount of complaints this has been going on since last week and it’s still not fixed? My game is completely broken, I can’t access worlds or create a sim, can’t access my settings to change anything or save or exit the game, build mode isn’t working, the simology tab as well as needs, career, inventory etc is still completely broken I can’t even rotate around my lot or zoom in or out. I saw the bug could be connected to parenthood I disabled the pack it still made 0 difference. This is for laptop as well where patches have already been released to ‘fix’ the problems but nothing is fixed it’s all still broken and for console players nothing at all has been done yet, the game and bugs need resolving if you want people to continue playing and purchasing packs this is beyond ridiculous now for all players pc/Mac/Xbox/PlayStation.

I play on ps5 where I was also have the save game issue as well. I tried to save on the 50x40 lot in Love Struck world and I had a save error code each time I tried saving on that lot. I also had a wall glitch as well. I had to make my sim go back to their house to even save the game.

We've now released the latest update for The Sims 4 on all console platforms, this issue should no longer be occurring and this thread will now be closed. 

If you are still seeing any issues on console related to the Simology panel, please create a new thread here.

@Jupiterdrive a hotfix was issued last night for consoles. If you update your game to version 1.96 you should see an improvement.
