[FIXED] [GTW] Detective opens jail door not in front of him [ Edited ]

Issue

The detective stands in front of one jail door and the criminal in front of a different one. The detective makes door-opening motions which have no effect on the door in front of him, but magically open the door in front of the criminal Sim.

Steps you took for Issue to occur

Choosing the "lock in cell" option after finger-printing, searching suspect, or taking mugshots will *sometimes* but not always do this. It seems to happen if the cell door to the main holding cell is blocked when the criminal Sim is heading back to it. They choose another cell instead, and then this happens.

Where does the bug occur ?

Tested in main game and in fresh game. Happened in both cases.

Detectives will no longer route to and open the wrong cell after choosing to lock a criminal in their cell. The changes made now require that…

• The player clicks on a cell and chooses the criminal to lock away.
• And the player clicks on the criminal in order to release them.

I don't see this every time but I've seen it several times. I've played the Detective career with 4 different sims in different saved games and neighborhoods. It seem fairly random. I can't pin point why it happens it just does upon entry into a cell. Not exiting the cell... entry only. It also happens on all the cells. If I am putting an interrogated sim into a cell its happened as well.

Yeah, I have seen this glitch from time to time. Pretty hilarious to see the police sims stretching weirdly to open cell doors though.
