This bug appeared again in the recent patch, so that's why everyones games started messing up again. EA has not fixed it yet but they are aware of it. Deaderpool has already uploaded a newer version of the MCCC mod including a fix and informed EA of the issue. 

If you're not a fan of mods, you'll just have to wait until EA finally gets around to releasing a patch with a fix.
