Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a child Practice Riding Bike near a building.
What happens when the bug occurs? The animation clips through buildings.
What do you expect to see? I expect the animation to not clip.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

It does seem to not care much what's around. I've seen it clip through buildings, plants, the basketball hoop, and a statue... works better if you send the kid (and maybe a mentor) to an open area off-lot in the neighborhood, then have them practice. Or just don't build lots as cluttered as I do!

Edit a couple weeks later: Yeah, they really don't care at all about pathing.

She's not stuck, by the way. Just passing through the stairs on her way to bike through her mother and the kitchen table before circling back...

What happens when the bug occurs? No set collision boundaries. See image.
What do you expect to see? That collision boundaries for bicycles are set when learning to ride a bike.

Please apply collision boundaries to bicycles when the option "learn to ride a bicycle" is chosen.

True, though that is not a solution.

This issue is still present a year later. How is it not fixed yet? Kids bike learning is one of the big features in this game and that one just defies all laws of physics

@LunarBritney 30 votes isn't that much so I guess it isn't seen as a game-breaking bug

Regularly happens to me too. They should be able to move to a nearby area that's open enough that the kid can do this without clipping through stuff. Lot boundaries shouldn't matter for this, either. They should be able to move outside the lot for it if necessary.
