[OPEN] [GRO] No 'Had a Baby' Milestone after having Science Babies

It only seems to not give the proper milestone for the first Science Baby. Just had two Science Babies and the second one triggered a milestone. However, if I try to save the family only one baby is included. I'm assuming it is the 'milestone baby*. So it might be a bigger issue than just not receiving a milestone.

I have this issue, but it's with a family. Mom and Dad were engaged and ended up having two kids together. Neither sim had a memory of the children joining the family.

I have just had this problem.  I am playing in a new save file.  Vlad has had a Science Baby as a single sim.  He is jobless.  He hasn't received the milestone or a birth certificate for poor little Vlad Jr although he does have his little hand prints.  I haven't yet been able to find a bug thread for the missing birth certificate.

I have the same issue in my save. I tried having a science baby as a single parent while doing the "Proud Parent" scenario and it doesn't even recognized that they've had a kid that way either. It will count interactions with the baby in the scenario but the main have a baby quest is not completed.

Yup, I have this issue I had Patina and Penny make science baby and it did not give me the milestone

The "Had a Baby" Milestone now triggers from having a Science Baby or giving birth at the hospital rabbithole.
