[FIXED] [GRO] No 'Had Baby' milestone after giving birth at hospital rabbithole [ Edited ]

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Step 1: Have two sims try for a baby without Get To Work installed Step 2: Wait for the pregnant sim to go into labor Step 3: When the pregnant sim has gone into labor, select "Have baby at hospital" Step 4: When the pregnant sim returns from the hospital rabbit hole, they will be missing the "Had a Baby" milestone
What happens when the bug occurs? When Get To Work isn't installed and pregnant sims have their babies at the hospital rabbit hole, the sim does not receive the "Had a Baby" milestone.
What do you expect to see? Pregnant sims receive the "Had a Baby" milestone when giving birth to babies at the hospital rabbit hole.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I don't have Get To Work installed so sims give birth at the hospital rabbit hole. When giving birth on their home lot, sims do receive the "Had a Baby" milestone. Only when giving birth at the hospital rabbit hole do sims lack the "Had a Baby" milestone.

@simminchillin I had the same problem with a baby which was born at the hospital off screen.

@WingedSnekSame here. I made two different families and the first one went into labor while they were working at their rabbit hole job, and when they gave birth, neither parent got the milestone.

The second family also had both parents work rabbit hole jobs, but when the pregnant sim went into labor, they were both on the home lot, not at work. But even though they weren’t working at the time, neither parent in this family received the milestone either.

So it looks like this missing milestone isn’t exclusive to science babies. Babies born at the rabbit hole hospital also leave the parents lacking a new baby milestone.

Is it correct that your sims had jobs while they had the baby? Because I think it might be that some milestones "overlap" others and are therfore unobtainable when a job is in place.

Can you try to let your sims have a baby before you give them any jobs and tell me if it shows up then?
Bc if it shows up when the sims don't have a job, you have the same issue that I have. And if so, can you put 'me too' on my post?

@DeEchteVrouw I tested a few times and it didn't seem to matter whether the parents had jobs or not. In my case, it seems like regardless of employment, if giving birth off screen at the hospital rabbit hole, the parents will not receive a "Had a Baby" milestone.

I’m having the same problem, but I do have Get to Work and my sim had the baby on the hospital on screen. The baby didn’t receive the “Born at hospital” milestone and the parents didn’t receive the “Had a baby” milestone. I also didn’t get the baby prints.

same problem here, thought it was a mod issue, and did some tests. then i tried full vanilla and realised that the issue was the baby being born at the hospital. i think that it might have been that the intention was that if you had a baby at home, you'd get the little handprints item as an alternative to the birth certificate. but the fact that the milestone doesn't appear if you have your baby at the hospital makes me think they forgot to tag that. as someone who likes to get the certificate for legacy reasons, it'd be nice if we could have a way to get both as well as the milestone.

I had twins born at the hospital on screen. They received a birth certificate, but neither parent received the Had a Baby milestone. I also didn't get the handprint painting.

@dannyfuentes13 Mine is the same way. They go to the hospital and have the baby and neither parent gets had a baby and the child doesn't get born at the hospital.
