Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Get famous, add quirks. Remove quirks.
What happens when the bug occurs? Quirk behaviour still there after quirk removal.
What do you expect to see? No quirk behaviour.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

The famous dlc bugs are still present. Please fix this already..

I got rid of the quirk with the potion initially, the work around provided does not work for me. My sim does the animation for the phone quirk still. He doesn't get ghost moodlets or anything but the constant animation of the playing on the phone is annoying.

I noticed this also.  A few of my sims I removed the phone fame thing, and yet they still kept looking down at their phones like they had it.  I also think they were still looking in mirrors even though I removed that with a potion also.

I'm pretty sure MC Command Center could likely remove this.  Its how I noticed it on my sims, i still have the phone trait quirk even though I removed it with a potion, but MC Command Center still showed it was on my Sim.

I really want EA to solve this bug. It is really frustrating.

This bug seems to never end. Fame quirks still haunts my saves. Tried to fix it in various ways but they keep coming back once you start the game again. I can remove them when I play but they come back when I start again. I got one sim that uses his phone all the time due to the quirk (That been removed for some months now).

I have tried removing this quirk with quirk-be-gone. With remove trait. With mccc remove buff. It all works. Until you save and open the game again. Then the quirk behaviour is back. I know what I'm doing and I gotta say.. There is no way to remove the quirk behaviours right now. Please fix this!

Edit: The title really shouldn't list that there is a workaround, cause there is none.
