I'm having the same issue, it's really making me not want to play.

Having the same issue. I have tried five times to make a new save world. Each time being quite silly and modifying all the lots for my story line only to find out that my sims will gain fame. ALL of them. I dislike fame in my sims world even though i make celebs. I do not mine having famous sims as background actors in my story. But to have everyone gain fame that is an issue.

Sims can now be opted out of Fame in the Options Menu once again. Don’t care about the bling or the hi-life, ‘cause Simoleons ain’t mean thing if ya ain’t Simming right.
