OK, so it worked for the daughter, but having to avoid going into CAS or having your Sims live their lives just isn't doable. This needs to actually be fixed. I will do further testing tomorrow night to see if it's now repaired itself by getting her a second gig and doing normal life...

@insanedevill You have several options

1. Play another career
2. Use the workaround
3. Play another game

There's not much else you can do unless EA/Maxis fixes the bug.

Having an issue with Get Famous pack, auditions and gigs.

My sim cannot attend neither an audition or a gig. Ill get the notification that work starts in one hour, but when the time comes, the sim just stays at home and the audition/gig will disappear from the job tasks. I've tried it on multiple sims with high levels and still they do not attend.
