[WORKAROUND] Freelancer/Actor/Decorator: No gigs via job panel

I have had the exact same problem, with all careers which involve gigs, I thought something had gone wrong with the download of dream decor or something wrong with my laptop. I'm using the work around right now but I'm pleased to know its not just me having this issue

• Actors, Decorators, and Freelancers all… Sims in Gig-based careers once again can accept Gigs from the Career panel to earn those precious Simoleons. Make it werrrrk!

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? v1.77.131.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Dream home decorator cottage living
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Install and play decorator, join decorator install and play cottage living, click Clipboard or Jobs board, nothing happens and no prompts for jobs window
What happens when the bug occurs? uninstall and reinstall, it persistents.
What do you expect to see? jobs window prompt out.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
