Sims 4 for rent- rental not showing up as owned

I am having the same issue. Do you use mods? I updated all mine and it's still happening.

Same issues as OP.

I play on PC with no mods or CC. I own all the DLC. After Simming since SimCity, I am disgusted with the amount of glitches in this pack. My game has been basically unplayable with the residential rentals system.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 

1. Before downloading For Rent, I created a residential home that I saved to my library with the intention of converting it to a residential rental once the pack was installed.
2. I installed the pack last Thursday and created a family in CAS.
3. I moved this family into Tomarang on an empty lot (Tam Nang Sands) in Koh Sahpa.
4. In Build Mode, I accessed my library and placed my premade residential down. I converted it into a residential rental.
5. Still in Build Mode, I then split my lot down into three separate units.
6. I went into Live Mode, and noticed that my Sims on the property were not the "property owners" despite owning the lot. An NPC named Panya was labeled as the property owner. On the phone UI, the household also had the option to "break their lease" indicating they were not the property owner.
7. In Manage Worlds, the household that I moved in was labeled the Property Owner, contradicting what was in Live Mode.

What happens when the bug occurs? 

• Property Owners/household that originally moved into the lot do not show that they are the property owners of all the units in the RR UI. HOWEVER, in Manage Worlds, it does reflect that they are the Property Owners.
• Panya the Property Owner NPC shows up as the Property Owner in the relationships UI
• Household shows that they can break their "lease" even though they are supposed to own the units.
• Manage Worlds says that the household is the Property Owner

What do you expect to see? 

• The household that moved into the lot should be the property owners, reflected in Manage Worlds and in any Property Owner UI

Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No, this occurred prior to having any mods installed. 
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Just tried this and it worked!

So when I loaded my saved game where the Sims I created were the property owners/managers, I just went back to build mode, left everything on the property as is, but changed the property type back to residential. Then changed it back to residential rental and it made my sims the owners/managers again. Only thing was I had to reassign the units. Probably a bug they need to address 🙄🙄

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the pack with high school years and for rent installed.
What happens when the bug occurs? Become owner of a rental property, then follow a teenage sim to high school. My teenage sim got a stressfull moodlet from being a bad property owner, and then her entire family "lost" the property, but are still listed as owners in manage world, but can not see it in live mode under properties.
What do you expect to see? Being able to play my other household sims, ex teens and children, and being able to go to another lot, besides their home and the owned propery, without loosing that propery in the sims simology panel.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Basicly, I had the Landgraab family buy a propery. Had tenants move in. Then their teenage daughter went to high school (high school pack), I followed her to high school. While she was at high school, she got a bad moodlet, from being a bad owner and not dealing with property issues. When her school day was over, I left her at the high school, and switched control to the mother, and I could not see the owned propery in the panel over owned properties. It said I didn't own any.

I went to manage worlds to check, but they are still listed as the owners.

I've got the same Problem. And I dont use any mods so its not a mod issue. I used the pre-made house from the game, after deleting one flat i am no longer the owner but I still own it...? Also I cant add any more flats. 

I will try to clear cache.
